Director Statement

Everyone deals with some form of depression, but some deal with it worse than others. As a Marine Corps Veteran, I have had my fair share of problems that caused a lot of trouble and pain in my life. I used to isolate myself and drink away the pain until I found the one person who helped me. My wife. I was Glen and suicide was moments away with no one knowing. The message that asking for help does not make you weak and many people need to hear it and I want to give it to them. If I never learned that message, I would not be here today.

I made this film to prove that we are truly never alone. We always have someone with us. That person could be a spouse, friend, family member, stranger, and eve God. It is hard when you are in a bad situation to see the light at the end of the tunnel, and trust me those tunnels ca be long and dark for all parties involved. This film shows the struggles both sides must face to make sure the worst outcome will not happen. Those suffering in pain are blind to the help being given while those giving the help begin to get worn out by the one struggling. That’s why my greatest inspirational item was something that I was always told. No matter how hard life gets NEVER QUIT.
