Lost in Memories has three socially important layers. First of all, it is father and son relations. The father greatly influences the development of the child’s personality. Fatherhood is a lifetime journey. And it begins in our childhood. I had a wonderful father. I took an example from him and was proud of him. Unfortunately, he died when I was 20. The most important decisions in my life I made were no longer being able to consult with him or just share my feelings. Now I am 40 and this gap is still felt at times, and it is imprinted in my subconscious.

The second social dimension is that the main character is a homeless veteran of Vietnam. He had to leave his family due to problems with bouts of aggression. All that was provoked by PTSD. Recovery and healing is a long way. And it requires family support. There is a war in Ukraine. After victory, millions of people will return to their homes… with PTSD. And their war will still go on inside them.

I added alcoholism as a third social dimension to the problem since it is a legal and affordable drug that ruined the lives of many families. Violence, mutilation, moral destruction of the person, tears, pain, and suffering. All this goes alongside alcoholism.
